New fields allow allow you to enter information for differentiation and internal classification of the transactions. It's also possible to use historical price data for FX transactions that began in the past. Furthermore, the copying of transactions to other users is now possible in seconds.
New fields
In the “General Information” section of the transaction interface, the “Transaction Type” field had now been replaced by two new fields: ID1 and ID2. These allow you to enter information for differentiation and internal classification of the transactions. The data included in these fields is also included in the Interest and Principal payment schedule.

Copy transactions to other sals.a users
For improved use in a Networking environment, you can now copy transactions and send them to other sals.a users within your organisation. The new command for this is located in the Menu button adjacent to the relevant transaction name.
Please note: You must enter the user name of the recipient in the send window, not the name and surname etc. The user name is the one used for sals.a login, and must be obtained from the recipient if not known. The user name is not case sensitive.
Copied transactions are sent in a separate portfolio to the recipient’s system. In the field “To portfolio”, you can provide this folder with a name to facilitate easy identification by the recipient. Alternatively, you may leave the default text unchanged and simply click “Send”. These screenshots provide an example of how a user named "John Sample" has sent a copy of a transaction to another sals.a user with the user name “joe.recipent”.
Please note: The sender and recipient must be members of the same sals.a user group, i.e. users of sals.a at the same organisational level (e.g. Treasurer and CFO).
Historical price data for FX transactions
For FX transactions that began in the past, historical price data is now available with a single click. As with interest rates, there is now a button called Load historic rates.

Please note: You should not load historic rates until the payment frequency of the transaction has been finalised, i.e. payment dates correctly defined in the Schedule. To ensure this, sals.a asks for confirmation that the historical data should be included. If you answer “no”, the historical rates are not imported. If, for instance, you make changes to the payment frequency and sals.a asks for confirmation that the historical data is to be kept as is (which is interpreted as a “manual change”), you must first erase the existing historical data by clicking “no”. Then, you can re-import the historical data for the new payment frequency and confirm this action with "yes".
