The date next to the "Market data" button can now be manually altered and a report generated for a past date via the “look back” function. To try this function first click on today's date, located next to the market data button.

Change date of market data in sals.aTo change the report date simply, enter the desired date directly into the input field or use the calendar icon. Then, click on “Update”. Thereafter, the date you selected will be used as the reference date in the main window and in reporting. The default date is restored to the current date when you log out.

The earliest available date is 01 December 2009. In the future however, sals.a will allow you to define dates further in the past.

NB! Remember to set the start date in view settings when browsing deal views!

This function is currently in the beta phase, thus for now we recommend using it only for trial purposes. There are currently a few functional limitations in effect when you select a historical reporting date:

  • After choosing the desired historical date, the “Refresh” button must be clicked an extra time before the correct data is displayed.
  • The selected historical date is not yet displayed in the header of the report. Currently, the date shown is set to the actual date, even for reports generated for historical dates.
  • Report analysis elements, such as pie charts and status reports, which have previously displayed data “as at the current date” may contain inconsistencies.
